Review on High Performance MSI Z390-A PRO Motherboard for Intel 8th and 9th Gen with M.2 USB 3.1 Gen 2 DDR4 HDMI DP CFX Dual Gigabit LAN ATX Z390 Gaming by Adam Nikodem ᠌

The best purchase in my life, I will definitely buy it again.

Analogues for the price have 4-5 power phases, which is probably not enough for a future upgrade, but I could be wrong. So far, I have installed the i3-9100F, but when the processors of this line become cheaper, I will install the i7-9700KF or i9-9900KF, this motherboard is unlikely to be able to drive these stones to space, but I hope it will master moderate overclocking. And even if overclocking, for example, the i9-9900KF, is not overpowered, then at least I will set the RAM timings and this hardware will last another 10 years. I’m waiting for YouTube from overclockers to test top processors on this mother, until I understand its potential for processors and nutrition, and I haven’t found evidence anywhere. Good potential for overclocking RAM with good B-Die RAM (I don’t see the point, I wrote the reason in the review on RAM) - I took the usual HyperX Fury HX432C16FB3 / 8, later I’ll buy another one for a single channel, I’ll say that 8GB, for example, is not enough in PUBG, I see drawdowns precisely because of one plank. I ated the computer with Asus P8H61 - MX - R2.0 LGA1155, i3-3220 and DDR3 HX316C9SR / 8 on which I like the radiator much more. The ate came out, as I think, in a moderate amount, Mother 8700r, percent 5700r and RAM 3000r. given the large option of further upgrades when prices become adequate. If the previous mother had been on a normal chipset, in principle, it would be possible to take i7-3770K from alik for 9500r. and not to bathe for a couple more years, but it was this experience that suggested to me that it was better to overpay "a couple of" and take the Z390.

Pros
  • 9 power phases. Additional power supply 6 pins on PCI-E, as I understand it, for those who like to "plug all the holes" and that everything would work in full, although it's possible I'll get to that. M2 one for nvme, one more for wifi. 4 pin five pieces and connector for dropsy. Convenient BIOS.
Cons
  • Thin, when installing the RAM it becomes scary, it bends a lot. Not a complete BIOS translation.
