If you are trying to remove the oil filter on a motorcycle or other vehicle where the filter is recessed into the engine with a small gap, this tool will do the trick. On most sizes, the contact area with the filter is angled, making it larger than necessary to slide between the filter and motor housing. I ended up sanding the edges to make it fit. Even then, the actual gearbox began to slip before the filter was released. Otherwise better quality than the ones I bought in the Autozone.
