Cannot be tightened enough to remove the oil filter. Whatever I do, it doesn't grab into the oil filter, it just slides over the filter. I regret buying this junk.

Well I need a universal tool to remove different sizes of oil filters. And that's it. It can tighten or loosen oil filters. The previous tool I own couldn't get tighter, but this tool is definitely worth it.

I am quite satisfied with the work of the adjustable jaw. It took me a while to get a good bite on my little Honda Civic filter, but as soon as I did it cut it off right away. I can say that the quality of the material is high and a non-mechanic will probably last a lifetime.

This product did a great job of what I used it for. This objective was to disassemble the old Coleman 502 single burner stove. It fits snugly so the burner can be unscrewed and removed. It worked great and was easy. Without this tool, it would be very difficult to do this job.

This is the perfect tool for loosening stuck oil filters. I had a 93mm oil filter housing and this little tool just made it easier without the slightest hint of a problem. I've tried regular end caps, band tools, and rubber grips with no success. It's definitely worth the money.

If you are trying to remove the oil filter on a motorcycle or other vehicle where the filter is recessed into the engine with a small gap, this tool will do the trick. On most sizes, the contact area with the filter is angled, making it larger than necessary to slide between the filter and motor housing. I ended up sanding the edges to make it fit. Even then, the actual gearbox began to slip before the filter was released. Otherwise better quality than the ones I bought in the Autozone.
