One of the most disappointing items purchased to date. The box was open and damaged - crumpled and half-crumpled in one corner and the top was loose. No security tape, markings or anything to indicate that this is a new product. Inside the device was a rubber band to wrap it around and simple instructions. I remember it had 6 or 8 temperature settings but almost no difference. Tried a variety of packages including branded chips, pretzels, popcorn, etc. None of the temperature settings sealed effectively or evenly. I mostly noticed gaps. And even the sealed portions separated easily. The only limited success I've had has been with lunch boxes - the traditional soft, clear plastic. In this case, too, the temperature must be high. One more note. You cannot control how long you can hold the seal. Deadlines are all done automatically and are VERY short.
