threw my Arris modem in the trash (return your commiecast if rented) and my speed increased almost 25% immediately; + with the new Netgear R7000 (for Wi-Fi) with Tomato software I can now sometimes [rarely] reach 90 Mbit/s, my "max theoretical speedβ at $50 a month I work from Comcast; Typical speed is now average. 70 m/s, whereby the maximum value was just averaged before the use of Ethernet-over-Power. 30m/s. This definitely solved my Xbox Live gaming problems with a simple toggle switch.
