Review on 🔘 LG Electronics GP65NS60 8X USB 2.0 Super Multi Ultra Slim Portable DVD+/-RW External Drive with M-DISC Support - Silver by Justin Elmore

I bought this drive for Christmas last year. It was for school and didn't move from my desk, with the rare exception of when I moved from my desk to my desk. It worked, but as mentioned in the reviews, it stopped reading discs properly after a few months. I've tried the same drives on a laptop's built-in drive and an Xbox 360 and all drives worked with no issues. About 6-7 months after purchase, the tray latch stopped working, just as shown in the video posted. Slightly pressing the top and bottom of the drive keeps it closed, so it's not an obstruction or a bad drive. I'm a computer engineer and I take very good care of my electronics. There's no reason why this drive should have so many problems. Unfortunately I'm disappointed, LG usually makes very reliable products.
