I prefer Clairefontaine Pastelmat
I decided to try this paper to compare to my Clairefontaine Pastelmat. For me there is no competition. This is the WAY to rough texture. It gnaws at my pastels and makes it harder for me to get sharp lines. When you do freestyle, you can light it up. Make sure you are aware of the texture of the sandpaper. Some people can't stand that feeling. It's not cheaper so I'm going back to Pastelmat. Also, if you choose to tape the paper to your work surface, remember that the tape will not stick to the paper.
