Assuming this isn't your first attempt at sewing a dress or sleeves, this is a very nice dress. I wanted the sleeves and the midi length, so I had to be careful with the pattern details. I realized my mistake by buying fabric for a shorter dress with sleeves. At this point I ignored the pattern layout and placed the patterns on the fabric to get the length and sleeves from this footage. I am an experienced seamstress (who has taught both sewing and sewing) and I would like to warn any new sewers that you need to be careful what size you are cutting as there are multiple sizes to choose from when cutting. Pattern piece (all on the same piece) - there can be some confusion when cutting along the lines to make sure you don't cut along the wrong line - but this is a manageable situation for sewing beginners.
