Excellent reputation. But that doesn't mean you won't have spoiled apples!

----------------------- ------ ------------- ------------------------------- ------ ------------- ------------Please note that I am writing this review almost a year after purchasing this thread -------- ------------ ----------------------- ----------------------- ----------------- ------ ------------------------ --- ---- -------- -------------------- ---- ------------I bought the orange color , because I had to do a project for my wife that was quite big. Unfortunately I couldn't use it on the printer I wanted to use because the extruder was having trouble getting the filament through and the extruder gear was skipping steps making such a loud annoying knocking noise and having to stop printing so often. Although my large printer was almost new at the time, I still suspected the printer and not the filament. So I decided to use this filament on my tiny desktop printer for which it was pretty much recommended by the printer manufacturer. Fast forward to today and almost a year in ownership, I can't stop this thread because of this horrible tapping and bouncing. Steps even on my tiny desktop printer. I have to drop the feed speed to 80% or less before the noise and jumping stop and wait forever for the print to finish. I've tried other brands from China, despite my skepticism about foreign brands, and surprisingly these filaments worked on all my 3 printers with no issues. Between March of last year and today I have purchased and printed several brands previously unknown to me and none of these filaments have had this problem. deviates from the original specification of 1.75 mm in several places on the spool of filament. This is the *ONLY* filament in my extensive collection of PLA filaments that will cause the extruder gears to jump around and skip extrusion. As I said, a respected brand, but I ended up with a bad apple. In hindsight, I wish I could get this back ASAP, but I never suspected the filament. I now use this filament to print prototypes, mainly for the bin. So think before you click the buy button.
