F-150 2001 only low stars because the description incorrectly states that it works with older ignition systems. The remote is easy to pair using the instructions in the vehicle handbook, but the chip is not compatible with older PATS style Ford transponder keys. I don't know if this chip is compatible with other manufacturers from the early 2000s. The chip is glued to the circuit board so I removed it and replaced it with a PATS chip from an old spare key I had. I love how little space the flip key takes up in my pocket and would definitely recommend it if you have the opportunity to change chips.
