The Element looks good and the keyless entry is very easy to program. The key was cut out but the locksmith said it couldn't be programmed because if the construction differences between the key and the car said the transponder chip couldn't come within range for the car to get the correct data. F-150 2001 only low stars because the description incorrectly states that it works with older ignition systems. The remote is easy to pair using the instructions in the vehicle handbook, but the chip is not compatible with older PATS style Ford transponder keys. (No PATS or PATS disabled) It is programmed with the door closed, then with the door open, insert key (as soon as possible), turn key on and off 8 times, stop on 8th time with key on. Looks much better in the photo than the product in hand. It feels cheap and the button doesn't click very well. More like slow motion and only partial when held a certain way. More importantly, this key *doesn't* fit the slot on the 2002 Ford F150, and I suspect many other Ford vehicles have a deep key slot that allows you to turn the key on. Although the key on the fob is longer than a regular key, it doesn't fit in the slot. In addition, you will need to disassemble the key quite a bit to fit
