I brew multiple doses of Earl Gray loose leaf tea each day and tea brewers are an important part of my equipment. The LuvlyTea Infuser is unique in several ways: 1) It is beautifully made. It appears that it is turned on a lathe and drilled with very small pores. This keeps the tea safe in the brewer but allows the aroma to escape. It is probably made with a sophisticated stamping process, but it gives the impression of being made by a silversmith. The quality of stainless steel is very high. 2) The lockable top is great. As soon as the teapot is filled with tea, the upper part snaps into place on 3 strips. A slight twist of the wrist locks it in place. It is no longer necessary to fill a wire ball with just a bent piece of metal as a hinge. I doubt this new infuser will ever open up in a pot, it's too well designed.
