Works with 2012 R2 and 10Gtek Ubiquiti DAC cables!

This is an overview of the 10Gb SFP+ model. Fiction. Works well on Windows and installs easily on Supermicro servers and Dell R610 servers. Install the driver from the CD before rebooting as instructed, then reboot to install. The card is recognized immediately and correctly as a 10GB adapter. I used a pair of 10Gtek Ubiquiti Direct Attach (DAC quest) copper cables and connected them to the SFP+ ports on my Ubiquiti US-48-500w switch. All connections were immediately negotiated to 10Gb and worked flawlessly. This connects my main Hyper-V server (Dell R610) to my storage server (Supermicro X9SCM-F based) via SMB share storage and what difference does this make compared to the old 1GB connection. I can't believe it's much faster, but all VMs are much more responsive. I'm always nervous about SFP+ and DAC cable compatibility, but they just worked! Very happy with the facility. Pros: Easy Installation, Half and Full Height Brackets, Windows 2012 R2 Easy to Install, 10Gbps, Compatible with 10 Gtek Ubiquiti DAC Cables!
