This part will definitely fit and work just as well as an OEM part with a few exceptions. The latch plunger, as others have said, does not sit flush with the door molding in the latched position. It's okay, but for some reason it doesn't sit flush. Everything else works great, I didn't have to tweak the cables and the materials are the same as the OEM. The latch and latch body are metal, and the other body is plastic, same as OEM. For me it is worth the price. If you have a completely identical door latch mechanism, get an OEM from a dealer, otherwise it will do.
