Katie Aspen vs. Walmart's Pick Aspen. Ready?

Both aspens are good. This is pretty much the choice of traders. Personal preference really. I have 20 pets, 7 snakes. I also have a lot of rats and mice. Along with other things. I have 20 cages for a unique collection of pets. I have to keep up with aspen, soil substrate and bark. But this review is about Aspen. I have had snakes for many years and have always used Pet's Pick, a Walmart brand. Hey, Walmart isn't that bad. I feed all my snakes in their habitat, always fed, caged aggression is a lie when fed properly. For several months. And I trust my experience to write a review about it. I have a 52 liter Kaytee bag. I talk like an idiot, I'm a foreigner, English isn't my best language, so. naked with me Katie is clumsy. It doesn't stick together as well as it should or like I expected. That's why I personally don't like it. I've had a few instances where my snakes have eaten and gotten Katie's aspen in her mouth because she doesn't stick and stick together. It looks like a vagrant nuisance. I had to open the mouths of several snakes to rip out large chunks of Kaytee Aspen before they swallowed it. And yes, my snakes allow me to do that, they're pretty cool. Aspen picking of pets does not occur everywhere. When my snakes move they don't move the whole cage because the stuff isn't as fluffy and goes where I don't want it to. When my snakes eat, they never get stuck in their mouths. Is always. It never happened. The aspen doesn't even rise when my snake contracts. This aspen falls straight to the ground. Love it. Aspen Pet's Pick comes in a 24 liter bag, but this expands to about 72 liters for $5. I bought a 52 liter bag of Kaytee for $10.99, that's it. 52l. No extension. Money and the size of a liter are irrelevant when it comes to animal health. If you ONLY buy cheap stuff for your pets, you shouldn't have a pet. BUT I find Pet's Pick much more useful and less annoying. I believe since Pet's Pick is glued and only expands when separated, it always holds together, quite unlike Kaytee where it's born spaced apart, delivered and opened the same way. The smell is good, both are good. In terms of texture, Kaytee is rougher and irritates my hands more than Pet Pick, which may not be as comfortable for my snakes if my hands feel rough right away. In terms of health, what oils and materials they are made from, from the center that makes them, from all scientific material. I have no idea. I have been using Pet's Picks for many years and my snakes have always been healthy. My exotic vet even applauds me for taking good care of my snakes. Thanks Mia
