What I like best about this timer is that you can set the screen to flash brightly as an alarm. I bought it because I'm too focused and forgetting about time and the last thing I want in this mode is sudden psychosis and annoying noises (but it has those too, if you're so inclined - loud and humming). ). The flashing screen is big enough and bright enough that I can't ignore it, but it doesn't give me an adrenaline rush either. This alone is worth the money. One note: I read in another review that their review did not include instructions in English. Mine have and have been easy to follow.
