I never write reviews for anything but after installing this intake on my 2011 Silverado 1/2 Ton 5.3L I had to say something. This is a great product! After installation, it seemed to me that the OEM intake was sucking air out of my engine. For lack of a better term, this intake lets the engine breathe! Immediately noticeable improvement in power, torque and fuel economy. I installed this air intake just before taking my family, a 3500 pound camper trailer and anything I could load into both to the Black Hills, South Dakota. My truck towed everything over the hills like in a dream! I installed the device myself and it took a few hours. My only comment on the fitment is if you can change the oil yourself, fit your own battery and maybe do some brake work then it's a no-brainer. If not, then pay someone to do it. You will need more tools than indicated in the instructions. The instructions were fine, but figuring out which nuts, bolts, and washers go where took some time and some know-how. In general very satisfied!
