If you've switched to reusable shopping bags and no longer have the plastic bags you used to keep, it's basically the same thing. They come in two lots of 50 each and even have a perforated tab at the top which supermarkets use to attach them to wire holders. They appear to be about the same weight and strength as regular grocery bags, with the only difference being that their surface is slightly textured. Oh, and they're black. While I don't want to advocate making the world's plastic problem worse, my 87-year-old mother uses it to clean up the kitty litter and there's no point in arguing with her.
