Very easy installation just 2 screws and some zip ties. I actually used this to connect a 5x8 trailer that only needs 4 wires. When connecting to the terminals in the box I had to ignore the usual wiring of same colored wires and refer to the diagram that came with the box to determine the function of each colored wire and connect the trailer wires accordingly. For example, the brown cable from my trailer (running light) is connected to the green terminal in the socket, because that is for the running light. It was a bit confusing at first, but I connected everything and everything works correctly.
