I chose it in black to act as a transition between the tiled kitchen floor and the linoleum utility room because my Roomba 770 got stuck there all the time. There is also an outside door to a utility room where the Florida sand comes in. This rug does not appear to reflect infrared radiation. Roomba thinks he's about to fly over the edge because his sensors can't see the ground anymore. Otherwise this is a very good rug.
