It works, it's really everything I've come to expect from a cheap microphone. Connected to a Xonar DG sound card. The sound is clear with virtually no distortion. There is no audible hiss, pops or hiss due to line noise and it doesn't pick up any ambient noise at all. The caveat here is that it's fairly small in volume. It's actually okay to be a foot or two away from you when speaking (mainly for gaming), but it's by no means a high-sensitivity mic. If you can't get it near you, you can look elsewhere. The cord is long enough, the braided cord can be a nice touch, but it still feels flimsy enough not to bother me. The power button moves so terribly little while you work that it's hard to tell if you've actually turned it on or off. noise recording. All my expectations of a cheap microphone were justified, even slightly exceeded in terms of clarity. Only docking the star because of the switch.
