Excellent digital lock. I needed one for my closed tailgate and it works like a charm. Installation was very easy. Just make sure you read the instructions before installing it and you shouldn't have any problems. The only problem I had (I had already planned this) was knowing my latch was too low and needed to be moved to a higher position. I think it said you need 6 inches from the center of the grip to the top of the keyboard. All I did was take some metal and make a plate to cover the hole where the bolt was and then move it up. that I don't always need the key when I leave the house and I can also deactivate the lock if I intend to come in and out more often over a longer period of time. i have the key FYI, Kwikset and Defiant (Home Depot) locks use the same key.
