I wanted to put 4, but the advantages blocked the disadvantages. Hello everyone, I've been using pixel 4a for three months and finally gave birth to a review. I’ll start right away with what turned out to be very important for me in a pixel: dimensions and small frames. When I first took a pixel in my hands, I realized that I had been looking for a smart device with such parameters for 4 years already. It is small, especially when compared with modern phablets, but it has good hardware. What compact smartphones did we have to choose from in 2022-2022? Any state employees with lousy hardware or iPhones? The choice is not great at all. Yes, Pixel also goes too far with the price (like apple), but tolerable, especially if you buy a model later, and not at the start of sales, as I did. In general, the ergonomics of the pixel 4a turned out to be ideal for me and overshadowed all its shortcomings. Well, personally I was pleased with the fingerprint, namely its speed and location. Before that, I used a fingerprint in the display (poco f2pro) and in the power button (honor 20), the first option seemed to me slow, the second one was inconvenient. Optimization also pleased, for the entire time of active operation, I did not notice any jamming or friezes, the system works fine. The camera on a smartphone is the best I have ever used, especially in terms of photos. It's not that I'm actively involved in mobile photography, but sometimes I like to take pictures of beautiful things. Before that, I used smart phones (I compare the camera with them): iphone SE 2022, vivo v15, samsung a8 pro, honor 20, poco f2 pro. It is worth talking about the weaknesses of the smartphone. Probably what upset me the most was the front camera. Firstly, the quality of the pictures is much worse than the main camera, and secondly, I often catch some kind of glare in the pictures. Autonomy for me noticeably decreased after poco f2pro, but I gradually got used to it, it never happened that the phone was discharged to zero. If the price of the phone would be around 25k, the pixel 4a would be an ideal smartphone.
