Tried using them with a Ramset PowerShot and a .22 caliber yellow load. After reading other reviews I hammered a 3" nail about 1" long into a pressure treated 2x4 and after every two tries this caused the nail to bend under the 2x4 and create a small crater in the concrete. I tried a nail alone and just tapped it. nail lightly (not hard at all) and the concrete started to crater. Maybe the concrete is too hard? Anyway, I don't know if the nails are to blame or not, but it won't work in my application. When I looked at other walls that were nailed to concrete many of them had at least 1 or 2 anchor bolts installed when the concrete was fresh and some had other types of nails but these were all done when the Concrete had only hardened a month. It's been over 16.5 years since the original walls were built, so maybe the concrete is too hard. The instructions say the concrete needs at least 28 days to dry, so that's not a problem. Can't give 5 stars as it didn't work and I need to find another use for the nails. Attached is a photo of the two RAMSET nails I tried to use, all bent.
