Problems with Triple Square Drive

Like many other reviewers, my set was missing a head and in its place was a copy of another (missing 21mm and in its place 18mm). I ordered this set and a set of 3/8" metric impact sockets from Sunex Tool Shop. Both kits had the same problem (missing a 17mm with two 16mm in the other kit) so it's a common problem. It seems that their packaging process needs to be changed. Most likely, people are packing them on the assembly line too quickly, but who knows. Maybe there's just one guy out there who's too cool for his reading glasses? I returned them the next day and the new ones arrived a few days later with no missing sockets so the downtime wasn't too bad. About a month later I received an email saying I only had a few days to return one of the kits or else I would be charged. I had to call support again and fix everything. So the exchange process could be better. I am satisfied with the real sockets. They look just like my old Snap-On Rotary Rosettes before they got rid of the clamps. g is plenty for the caliper bracket bolts. The excessive amount of threadlock some manufacturers use really puts them to the test. None of them are mandatory yet. Some people have complained that the 1/2" drive hole was cut straight instead of beveled. (They're a bit tight on my kick, but these are new sockets for a new kick). I had no problems installing or removing them. Also, adding a chamfer would mean less surface area on the striking anvil (which would wear out faster) or increase the seat height (which would require more room). I like the way they are. My only complaint is that they aren't labeled in one line. You won't see many sizes on the Jack rail. I can read the sizes painted on the collar just fine, but it will scratch off over time. Stamped dimensions are small and harder to read. have a bit more clearance without a collar. I would say they are like 20 year old quality tool cart sockets priced at 1/3 the new price. All in all good sockets at a good price. I just hope they figured out how to put them in the box. I know a lot of people would just return them and get a different set from their favorite tool cart.
