Depending on your use, the standard chisel-point shackle may be better for your job. For my application of fabric to chipboard, this stainless steel chisel was just the ticket. On some harder woods it may be worth digging out a diverging brace with angled and extended ends as shown in this product image. But this version can be hard to find as the part numbers can be the same. In summary: I didn't get exactly what was in the photo (the length was the same), but the version I received worked perfectly.
