My system: asus z370-g gaming micro atx mother, Corsair Veng. RAM (55mm! high), 8700K processor and Aerocool P7-C0 case (175 max cooler height). This is the most important thing, I think. I thought I knew a lot about computers until I ran into the "Dimensions" problem. The height of the cooler fit with a margin of 5-8 mm, did not measure, there is a photo. There was a catastrophe along the length, the heatsink stood on top of the RAM, but the fan itself rested against it! Yes, it can be raised to a sufficient height for radiators due to the fasteners, but I then ran into the side wall :D To all this trouble, the cooler is too wide and almost touched the video card in the 1st slot of the motherboard, and it actually works at 16x speed of the 3rd version of PSI. I had to move it to the 2nd slot at a speed of 8x of the 3rd version of PSI. And it would seem that everything is ok, but a new generation of FB will come out and suddenly this speed is not enough, then the 1st slot will be needed . And so I decided to turn the cooler vertically, with the fan down, so that the flow would go to the top cover of the system unit. Happened. Now the fan will not reach the FB board 1-2 mm, and nothing interferes with the RAM radiators, success, I think! We also look at photos. Thermal paste used Deepcool Z5. A screwdriver will be needed more authentic :) the rest of the information in the photos, do not make my mistakes! Good luck!
