They're big but I still love them

Probably made for bigger birds than my canary but honestly none of us bother. I use one for his daily fresh vegetable mix and one for his bath water (it's the blue one on the back). I don't attach bath blue to him just because it's easier to just sit in the cage for a few hours until he's done and then I just remove him and there's nothing in the cage leaving more room. The one with fresh veggies stays attached and I love that I can just leave it attached and lift the silver bowl for cleaning or refilling. BB doesn't seem to mind at all that his vegetable bowl is huge. In fact, he boldly dips his little head straight in the air with all his booty (god sooo cute). Sometimes he just jumps in and eats. He hates the perch that came with him, but never mind. We are happy with the bowls and that is the main thing. This is exactly what we need and I am ordering more as I install new cages to get a new BB friend and hopefully breed a pair. Come to think of it, one of these lined with felt for attachments might actually be a good use for them as well. I've seen other sockets made of plastic or metal. Take out the piece of metal and you have an outlet. I know they like smaller nests but once they fill it up with stuff it will probably be the perfect size and the clamp is so strong it will never move. I could try Who knows. I just really love records.
