My 2014 Ford Fusion Hybrid had an issue with the air conditioning not cooling when parked. I suspected an electric fan, so I ran some basic diagnostics and found that the fan relay was not working. I took a relay from another circuit and substituted the fan relay that allowed the fan to work properly. I ordered two units to keep one as a spare. I opened the faulty relay and found the relay coil to be open so this is beyond repair. I think a genuine Ford relay would have cost over $20! Add in the cost of diagnostics at the dealer and the total cost is over $200!
