I'm installing Nucore vinyl plank floors. The flooring pack tries to sell itself so easily, all you need is a sharp razor to cut and snap it like drywall. Let me tell you that you should NOT attempt to install laminate without this laminate cutter. The knife method works when you have all day to try and score. The Norske knife works right away. The only thing I could wish for was the ability to cut lengthwise. My boards were only 6 inches wide but 48 inches long. There is no way to cut the board to length with this, so I used a small electric saw, but that doesn't do the trick for perfect ends. Yes, and also don't try to install without a rubber mallet and block and pull rod. You NEED these items.
