Sounds great, best in car audio

I installed these speakers on my 2014 Ford Focus hatchback. The reason I chose this particular model is that it operates at a low but safe 3 ohms. This means it pulls more power from the factory amp to boost volume, which the Sony 10's factory speaker system lacked. Volume is a lot better with them. The picture shows the installation of the door. Installation took a long time but wasn't difficult. Some installation guides I've found online talk about reusing the stock speaker enclosure by removing the stock speaker from its plastic surround. I only used the ones that came with this product. The customization worked great. Used soundproofing on the doors and hot glue to attach the crossover to the vapor barrier. The sound quality is excellent. My only complaint, as others have mentioned, is the crossover. The tweeter is not controlled by Db+ like other builds I've had in the past. Because of this, the tweeter sounds harsh, at least to my ears. I had to adjust the stereo EQ to roll off the highs a bit. The woofers sound very good, although at maximum volume they seem to hit the ground. To my inexperienced ear, there are no complaints. Overall very happy with the purchase and would recommend to others.
