Turning my road bike upside down can even loosen stuck pedals. Using my body weight over the wrench (usually my allen wrench) I loosen. Just make sure you do it right. I switched to non-contact pedals on an exercise bike because there wasn't enough power. I brought him this key and it literally loosened in 5 seconds. Before this key I kept working on it but to no avail. The long, heavy handle gives you the leverage you need. This is the right tool to loosen stuck pedals.
