Review on 🔧 Fel-Pro Engine Main Seal Set - BS 40631 for Rear Applications by Mark Hart

The parts in this set have confused me. If the upper oil pan falls, the front lip seal will also need to be replaced, which is why some gasket kits include both the front and rear lip seals. This Fel-Pro kit will NOT fit. The upper oil pan shows all kinds of patching in YouTube videos: everything from sanding down the lip seal, using a ton of RTV sealant, using a flathead screwdriver to set the seal in place, using pliers to hold the metal case in place . to attach a needle, pound it with a metal mallet! I wouldn't recommend banging on that die-cast aluminum case with a metal hammer! For this kit to be complete, it must include the front lip seal, upper oil pan to block gasket, and lower oil pan to upper oil pan gasket. I am disappointed that a company like Fel-Pro is selling such a poorly assembled gasket kit.
