Not an especially absorbent fabric.
I was expecting this to be made of thin canvas or sail cloth like other children's smocks I've bought. We use all of them as bibs for total coverage at mealtime. The fabric of this one is somewhat "slippery" and dribbled milk and semi-liquids don't absorb but instead roll down to toddler's pants. He still likes it because of the print, but I prefer the more absorbent canvas smocks we have.
- This wasa gift for my granddaughter that like to help in the kitchen. She liked it a lot.
- Cheap plastic. For my 3 year old granddaughter. She’ll use it but I would never buy another one.
