We've tried a few of these in the hope that the first batch might be defective. But now we had to replace them EVEN UP TO 3 WEEKS, so DEFINITELY NOT "3 MONTHS" of cleaning. In any case, the INITIAL flow is DARK BLUE - darker than I think necessary, potentially reducing efficiency significantly. After 2-3 weeks the color becomes a VERY LIGHT blue then I found I had to hand clean the toilets within 1 week to be the lightest blue. As a PLUS, I also ordered a disposable CLOROX toilet cleaning set. I LOVE IT! FAST CLEANING BETWEEN SHIFT The Fluidmaster is MUCH EASIER than my previous toilet brushes and spray cleaners. UPDATE SEPTEMBER 2018: We kept trying. AND THEY'LL ONLY GET WORSE! NOW ONLY THE LAST 2 WEEKS AND NOT EVEN WELL CLEANING DURING THIS TIME!
