Review on ๐Ÿšฟ Moen LR2352DBN 8-Inch Brushed Nickel Integrated Showerhead by Shalom Germann

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Very strong - installation requires a hole saw

It's really solid. Due to the way my (tiny) bathroom is set up, and due to major leg surgery, I have to pull it horizontally (i.e. like pulling it straight out of the wall) to get off the toilet. I'm not sure it's rated to take that much pull in that direction, but it feels solid. The screws that attach it to the drywall are the largest I've seen and ingeniously designed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because: a) it required a 1 1/4 inch hole saw (I'm not sure of the size) and I couldn't find it in the garage, so I went to Ace Hardware and b) once you drilled the holes with a hole saw, there isn't much play in the mounting brackets to allow for width or height adjustment. So you have to be precise to cut holes. I'm a little off, but not noticeable at all. I just have to be careful not to leave the torpedo scale lying around in the bathroom - I don't want a guest checking my work ;-) By the way, it's bigger than I thought on the photos; There was barely enough wall space to install it in my tiny bathroom. The toilet paper roll looks lost on it, but I appreciate its size when I need to grab it.
