My parrot doesn't like porridge and this product doesn't fall apart. I don't bother with overnight soaking and simmering. I put it in my Instant Pot, water it well and cook it naturally for 60 minutes. The only thing that's a little harsh is the corn kernels, which are like big unpopped popcorn. I cook enough to last a few days in the fridge (about 3/4 cup). My revane seems to like it a lot. Almost done with my first bag and reordered. I like how it's handled. Grains, beans, etc. are clean straight out of the bag, so there's no need to rinse.
