This cell phone holder is very practical and easy to use. You can also quickly remove it and put it in the back seat if you need a cup holder for some reason. The only downside to this device is that you might lose one of your center console cup holders, but other than that it works fantastic and doesn't leave any sticky suction marks on the dash or windshield. It's well built and sturdy and slides my phone in and out very easily. I think this is a great alternative to models with suction cups or those that attach to air conditioner vents. Silicone suction cups are great, but they leave marks on dashboards and windshields. One actually damaged my dashboard and no matter what I did, even going to an upholstery specialist, I never got the ring off. The type that attaches to an air conditioner vent is handy, but the air conditioner or heat coming out of that vent has now blocked the phone and you either have a very hot or a very cold phone. In my opinion, this model is by far the best alternative on the market!
