These are just big clamps with a special bracket for attaching the tire sensor. At the same time, they are effective for the task at hand. I have a few suggestions: 1. Using metal scissors, cut the ribbon to an approximate length before threading it through the clip. (Don't cut it too short) I put these tapes on 17" rims and have a lot of tape left over. Shortening the belt saves time and reduces line wear. 2. Be careful when you start the tape. The threads can be used with a ratchet if you're too careless, or tightened by hand instead of an impact wrench.
