Review on Georgia Giant Romeo Gr500 Soggy by Reggie Stewart

Great pair of boots and they would get 5 stars except for one problem: these boots are DIFFICULT to put on (and of course take off). I have other boots of this design that are easy to put on (and they were from the first time I tried them; plus you never have to "break in" the basic process of putting on shoes!) The problem isn't, it's easy to see - if you look at the product photos and see how far down the elastic goes; there seems to be a lot of stretching. However, if you look INSIDE of the boot, you will see that the fabric panel has been sewn about halfway into the elastic panel, literally halving the stretch! My guess is that the panel was engineered to prevent water from entering through the elastic material. Honestly, the struggle and difficulty getting the boots on and off makes me wish they had stopped using the panel and let the full extent of the elastic do the work. Actually, maybe I should have given them 3 stars. Details: I wear a size 9, ordered a size 9 and they fit well with plenty of room for toes. I have a slightly high arch but not so high that I have a fit issue. As soon as I put these boots on I love wearing them.
