For the price they are a good choice and I am placing my second order for a larger quantity. On average I burn 45 to 65 5 inch discs a month to sand fiberglass, gelcoat, epoxy and wood. I was concerned when I ordered that I would end up throwing them away. but I was shocked at how well they worked and how many of them were enough for a disc of less than twenty cents. There were some loop failures, maybe 5 out of 100, the sand held up almost as well as the higher end brands. If you're looking for a disposable pad that doesn't cost a fortune, this is it. If you grind 8 hours a day. no but if you're doing projects that take 2 or 3 hours, YES. The grit isn't entirely uniform as shown in the picture, but 200 and under is for food so it doesn't matter.
