My husband bought me this waffle maker after years of dealing with a dirty, difficult to clean, clunky and bulky waffle maker that we were never able to replace. We really felt the need for a change when we stayed a few nights in a hotel and used their existing waffle maker, which is very similar in structure to this one but made for hotel use. I have to say that this is even better than the one we used in the hotel. I never liked making waffles because it was so messy and difficult to use, but this waffle maker made it incredibly easy. I knead the dough, put it in and sprinkle it with a thin layer of ghee, when the indicator turns green I pour in the dough and turn it. Within minutes I have an absolutely perfect waffle. The waffle maker even has a dial that can be turned for a crispy crust. I like very crunchy waffles and my kids prefer soft ones, so this feature is one of those nice little extras that can really make a product great. One of my favorite features of the waffle maker is the drip tray, which is very easy to clean. I'll be honest, I don't have the strongest hands and can easily ruin the batter, but not only is the waffle maker easy to clean, the drip tray prevents big messes under the waffle maker. . I also like the versatility of the manufacturer. I've used it to make grilled cheese sandwiches which seem like a very easy meal, but this waffle maker makes it and my kids love the look of it. As for the aesthetics of the waffle maker, it's very sleek stainless steel with black accents. It fits easily on my counter and is very convenient to take with me or move around. Overall, this is an absolutely great product at a great price. I couldn't be happier with it and would buy it ten times over.
