Returned immediately

Ordered this Hamilton Beach waffle maker after reading more positive reviews than other brands just to get a DIRTY Bella brand. Instead, I'm a Hamilton Beach box! With instructions that were not on the brand page!

Delicious homemade waffles!

Excellent if you follow the instructions for both the waffle batter and the waffle maker. Applying a light coat of spray oil to the hot waffle plates makes them easier to handle and makes cleaning easier. Three levels of browning for a crispy crust with different textures. with blueberries, bananas and raisins in it!

Pros
  • Brilliantly done

The key is using the right waffle mix!

I almost gave it a 1 star rating the first time I used it. Then again for the second time. I was very disappointed that my waffles weren't the fluffy, restaurant style waffles I was hoping for when I bought them. First I used the Hungry Jack Mix and the second time I used the Kodiak Mix. I didn't like the waffles either. Then we bought the Krusteaz brand and voila! We had delicious fluffy waffles! Now I don't scold my waffle iron when I cook breakfast on Saturdays, I love it! :)

Better than my professional waffle maker

I work in a large hotel and I serve breakfast every morning and we have three cast iron professional waffle makers that we constantly pump waffles out of. I bought this waffle iron just after starting work because waffles were on my mind the whole time. Honestly? I like this even more than the ones at work. The waffles don't burn or get crispy and I've never made one too short. Very easy to clean and looks good enough I could leave it on the counter without putting it away. I would definitely…

Small footprint, great waffles

We haven't owned a Belgian waffle maker since our last one broke while spinning. This has always been the most common point of failure. I didn't want to spend a lot of money again on something that was going to break. I also didn't want to have a lot of space in our now small kitchen. I've always liked the flip concept because I think it makes waffles better. This is fully compliant. Inexpensive. Check. Little footprint. Check. Easy to clean. Check. Makes good waffles. Check. The waffle won't…

One of our best buys!

My husband bought me this waffle maker after years of dealing with a dirty, difficult to clean, clunky and bulky waffle maker that we were never able to replace. We really felt the need for a change when we stayed a few nights in a hotel and used their existing waffle maker, which is very similar in structure to this one but made for hotel use. I have to say that this is even better than the one we used in the hotel. I never liked making waffles because it was so messy and difficult to use, but

Conclusion: The waffle maker is great, easy to use and doesn't stick. We're just concerned that many of them have been dropped. However. We checked the price on site before purchasing this waffle maker. It has great reviews everywhere, so it was exactly the model we wanted. Revain was at least $10 cheaper than other major retailers, which is not so common these days when many BIG retailers price match Revain. We ordered from Revain and were delivered quickly. The Revain box was intact…

Pretty damn good - waffle maker

I love weekend Belgian waffles and bought these to replace the Waring that melted. I loved the Waring in many ways, but I've had 2 fail in exactly the same way (most of the unit is metal except for the plastic parts it pivots on and it's prone to catastrophic meltdowns), so I decided to try my luck with another brand. Haven't had it long enough to see how it holds up over time. But straight out of the box, impressions and the first few uses look promising. It's a bit more compact in terms of…
