This is a terrible product in general. The laser part is not very noticeable even in the dark when driving. The main light is bright but the design sucks. On the way to work, the battery cover fell off and the batteries fell out. I'm not sure when it happened, but I must have hit a bump and he just fell. Without the lid, I had to puzzle over how to store the batteries in there. It worked for a while. The buttons have an annoyingly high number of clicks to turn off the light. Then the mount just broke (for no apparent reason) and it was time to toss the piece of junk.
