I don't usually write reviews at all, I only read them to make a purchasing decision. But I'm writing this because I bought this backup camera based on all the 5 star reviews but when I installed mine the video was TERRIBLE. I installed it correctly, but when I turned it over and the video came out, it was semi-blurry and VERY flickering, like an old VHS tape. NOTHING like the photos shown! When I drive at night and sometimes step on the brake, my screen switches to rear camera mode, but the video from the camera doesn't show up because I'm not reversing. It only switches to the rear camera with a blue screen. It doesn't happen every time, but definitely enough to be annoying! I think I was unlucky to get a bad camera from the group but it goes without saying I will be returning mine.
