. It's almost identical to the original part I removed from my 1994 Toyota 22RE pickup (Toyota calls it the Auxiliary Air Valve) and it mates perfectly with the OEM throttle body struts. No electronics are used as a wax pellet design is used to open and close the valve. The original had over 220,000 miles on my pickup so I figured it was time for a replacement (wax tablet wears out over time) as I was already in the process of servicing the throttle body. The difference in idle quality is noticeable, but replacing the part will not solve any serious idle problems.
