Review on Continental PremiumContact 6 315/45 R21 116Y summer by Janis Skrindzevskis ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I like the product very much, fully consistent with my expectations.

I will report on the Continental PremiumContact 5 235/50R18, but I have not yet purchased the Continental PremiumContact 6. After nearly aquaplaning at 100 miles per hour in a regular Outlander III, I decided to upgrade. You couldn't get away with much cranking from a traffic signal in a conventional front-wheel drive vehicle, but in a PremiumContact-satisfied Outlander with its variator, you can. PremiumContact 5 tires are resistant to hydroplaning even on rainy roads. Puddles blasts off with such force that the steering wheel hardly moves. The ride is smooth, quiet, and well-balanced; the car maintains its speed and position with remarkable accuracy; and the steering wheel does not vibrate or shake. Discs can't get dinged up by curbs thanks to their wide sides. For my 20-mile radius, I'm saving up for PremiumContact 6.

Pros
  • Quiet Superb traction in every weather Excellent twists and turns in the rut. No hernias have been reported in two years. You're so determined, you'll rip the skid to shreds.
Cons
  • The price is high, and no, it's not Bl-85 by Hong Kongshina; in fact, it hates snow, ice, damp clay, nails, and screws.
