Review on Franklin Sensors FS710PROProSensor 710+: Advanced Stud Finder with Level & Ruler - Yellow by Rick Rownd

Unfortunately, I have to rate this Dornfinder poorly. I have a simple new construction of 3/4 inch single layer drywall with wood studs. The nail finder appears to detect air ducts, but a nail next to it appears and then immediately disappears. I've tried cycling it up and down, side to side, and turning it on before and after hanging it on the wall. The only consistency was inconsistent readings. I contacted their tech support and after troubleshooting with them they said it sounded like a bad device. I sent it back and got a replacement. This new one also provided similarly contradictory readings. My old zircon works better and is over 20 years old! This new one will be returned for a refund.
