This knife is very light. Steel bends very easily and needs to be sharpened very often. Knives are very overpriced. For the same price I can buy a quality Japanese blade that stays sharper and doesn't bend as much as this blade. The knife is terribly balanced, with all the weight on the handle, definitely not for chopping, you have to shop there purely with hand motion, not hand motion with your wrist, because the weight is too light to delve into groceries with your own weight. . Therefore, you need to keep your wrist tight and flexed to prepare a large batch of food. I would not recommend this knife to anyone. You can also buy the same quality knife for $25 at Walmart.
