Review on Strathmore 400 Series Watercolor Block, Cold Press, 11x15 Bound - High-Quality 15-Sheet Watercolor Paper Block by Summer Hendricks

Have been using this pad for at least six years now. This is my favorite for texture, size and price! I use it for my more traditional artwork, but lately it's my main use for my online comic which has a more silly style. I split the 11x15 page into three strips so each strip is the perfect size to scan. Very seldom have I ever had quality issues, and I tend to poop my paper by recycling sheets, accidentally falling asleep and drooling all over them, and laying on many layers of materials, even if they're not watercolors. This newspaper is my dream team in itself. I can also apply gouache for any corrections, it works very well for colored pencils, even alcohol based markers, white gel pens and ink. However, be careful with pens as the nature of paper means you should always be careful. I strongly recommend ballpoint pens or felt-tip pens only after painting. To have a little more smoothness and depending on the quality of your ink and watercolor to prevent your ink from fading. Successful creativity, friends!
